People from wedding in Australia died in bus accident

 10 people died in a fatal bus accident and 15 in critical condition at the hospital.


10 people are dead and 15 others are in hospital with serious injuries after a wedding bus had an accident in an Australian wine region.

The passengers were coming back from a wedding at a winery on Sunday night in the Hunter Valley when their bus overturned. 

Police have charged the bus driver with 10 counts of menace driving which lead to the death  of passengers.

The driver, who is from the community of Maitland, north of Sydney, was not able to get bail and will show up  in court in Cessnock on Tuesday.

 Commissioner of police Karen Webb said the site of the accident is still an active crime point. "We have got forensics officers processing the crime point, we've got accident look over unit officers, we've got rescue officers ".

The crush happened on Sunday about 23:30 local time [13:30 GMT]  when, according to police, there was heavy mist in the area. The bus had turn over while making a role at a roundabout off a highway. Jurisdictions said the bus is now turned upright.

Mr Albanese said some of the injured passengers are at John Hunter Hospital, but many had been taken to Sydney.

NSW Premier Chris Minns said the loss of so many peoples lives was "nothing short of heartbreaking", adding: "For this terrible accident to have happened on a day that should have been filled with love and gladness only adds to the heartbreak.
